TeBS migrates client server based and legacy applications to web based systems built on latest software tools for several of its customers

Over the years, one of our key success stories has been to migrate legacy and old in-house applications used by our customer for over a decade to the latest web-based technology. We also use this opportunity to enhance the business processes and modify the software application for better efficiency and productivity. In fact some of our clients have also received grants from the government in their productivity improvement projects by upgrading their business software applications.

One such customer is a Singapore manufacturing company in the semiconductor industry and we redeveloped the Work in Progress application used in its manufacturing processes for electroplating of metals and semiconductor products. The modules TeBS developed included Customer Module ,Process definition module, Shop floor execution module, Interface with Barcode scanners ,Order booking module, Order execution module, Tracing module, Invoice module, PO module, User management module, Master data management module.

Another customer , a global MNC in the oil & petrochemical industry had a client-server based old shipping document system , that was isolated for each of the jetty terminals and that did not support printing of documents at the point of need, thereby increasing ship turnaround time and jetty occupancy time which translated to higher operating costs. TeBS successfully built a centralised web based shipping document generation system integrated to the back end JDE ERP application using .NET 3.5 development platform. Subsequently TeBS added another module for ship vetting which was previously being done manually.

A third customer that provides certification / audit services to organisations in Singapore was using a decade old planning and scheduling system and were having inherent problems in managing the schedule of their auditors and communicating the same with their clients because of wrong alert notifications and errors in the system. This resulted in a lot of confusion amongst the parties involved and affected their customer service. TeBS revamped the entire system on the latest .NET platform and the new system will schedule the auditor visits to customers for auditing services. The system matches the auditor skill set to the customer scope of work. Based on the experience, scope match and availability, the system will suggest the auditors to be scheduled and final decision will be taken by the scheduler / administrator. Once the schedule is confirmed, system will send email alerts to the customer & auditors about the upcoming audit. This schedule will be treated as a job and system will track the completion of the job. Our system is flexible to accommodate the group scheduling, booking cancellations, re-bookings.
