This client wanted to revamp its existing Intranet to establish a common infrastructure communication platform for management and staff between the different departments in its Singapore office.
TeBS deployed SharePoint 2010 along with InfoPath to facilitate information delivery and serve as a common repository for the information dissemination, collaboration and calendaring. The intranet portal also has self- service applications for employees like Travel Requests, Business Travel Claims, Local Expense claims, Training Requests, Purchase Requests, Purchase Claims and even user definable forms built on InfoPath forms and using SharePoint workflow. TeBS also implemented enterprise search, document management and the new MySite feature of SharePoint2010 for collaboration between the staff employing social networking concepts.
In addition the portal provides space for announcements, news and management directives. It has quick links, support team discussions, event calendars, news feeds, stock feeds, document centre, and phone directory with staff search capabilities. The deployment provides multilingual capability in both Chinese and English.
